Our School

Langley Hall Arts Academy (LHAA) is a new, vibrant, stimulating, academic one form entry secondary school with a creative and performing arts focus, providing  academic excellence alongside a strong artistic education. Our outstanding school is a place where both staff and pupils are passionate about their lifelong learning journey.

We aim for each child in our school to be individually known, cared for and valued as a whole person who has unique gifts and abilities to contribute to the learning community. Our aim is supported by strong systems of tried and tested pastoral care. Every part of school life will support the development of good character, emphasising individual integrity, distinction, initiative and perseverance in a community characterised by mutual respect, shared positivity, an attitude of service and a spirit of compassion.  Our values are broadly Christian in our school that welcome all faiths, and backgrounds.  Excellence is sought, valued and celebrated across academic subjects, the creative and performing arts, and team and individual sport. We recognise and support the sustained hard work that this requires from all members of the school. 

By the time children leave our school our aim is that they should have experienced personal success, achieved significantly in their learning, developed strong habits of study, and found genuine joy in their educational endeavours which will stand them in good stead for the future.
